Executive pay : Boeing CEO gets 20% pay raise

Boeing Co. CEO James McNerney received a 20 percent pay raise 2012, to $27.5 million, according to the company's proxy statement. 

Mr. McNerney's base salary was unchanged at $1.9 million, but his performance-based bonus went up by nearly a quarter to $10.8 million, the Chicago-based company said. Despite problems with lithium-ion batteries that led to the grounding of the company's Dreamliners.
