Abe's Market lands $5 million in funding

Abe's Market, a Chicago-based e-commerce site dedicated to natural and organic products, has raised $5 million from investors led by Israeli venture capital firm Carmel Ventures. 

Founded in 2009 by Richard Demb and Jon Polin, Abe's Market sells more than 11,000 food, baby, hygiene, home, fashion and pet care items with a healthy, environmentally conscious focus.
