Investors pour money into emerging-market equity funds

Equity funds focused on emerging markets have enjoyed an inflow of $80.3 billion this year, according to EPFR Global. Last year, such funds experienced an outflow of $49.5 billion. "It has been a great year for the emerging markets after the collapse of many of these markets at the end of 2008," said Nigel Rendell, senior emerging-market strategist at RBC Capital Markets.
